The client wanted 2 target audiences for the website. (The client wished to provide for two target audiences on the website:
1. Providing basic information regarding GMO's to the uninformed,  as well as 2. Function as an accreditation of research, progress and standards that they have achieved thus far and to explain what the steps would be to get registered.

I designed the website with 2 legs: ABC Know the basics, and Dig deeper, thus taking into account the informed and uninformed, as well as the educated and well informed.

Since the topic of GMO development and research can be quite technical and the copy heavy, we designed the desktop version with interactive building block topic images. The website contains a CMS back-end that enables the client to add and subtract information as they please.

The client provided us with so many different topics, that we had to carefully set out clever and visualy interactive ways to navigate and interact with the bulk information: block structure navigation, as well as the use of subject icons. We even started to throw some vector graphics in, to replace some low quality images and diagrams that were given to us.
